Goals for Assessment at CSU
- Provide leadership to create a vibrant culture of assessment and learning improvement at CSU.
- Develop and promote student-centered assessment practices.
- Promote ethical collection and use of assessment data.
- Build capacity of faculty and staff to do meaningful learning assessment and use information to improve curriculum and instruction.
- Provide leadership towards a scholarly approach to learning assessment and educational program evaluation.

- The Faculty Council Committee on Teaching and Learning (CoTL) has responsibility for policies related to the activities of student learning outcomes assessment.
