Goals for Assessment at CSU

  1. Provide leadership to create a vibrant culture of assessment and learning improvement at CSU.
  2. Develop and promote student-centered assessment practices.
  3. Promote ethical collection and use of assessment data.
  4. Build capacity of faculty and staff to do meaningful learning assessment and use information to improve curriculum and instruction.
  5. Provide leadership towards a scholarly approach to learning assessment and educational program evaluation.

  • The Faculty Council Committee on Teaching and Learning (CoTL) has responsibility for policies related to the activities of student learning outcomes assessment.
